SALES EXECUTIVE

Summary

The Spire Sales Executive will be responsible for cultivating new business, as well as growing and handling existing accounts. This individual will report to the Executive Vice President.

Principal Duties

  • Grow established accounts as well as generate new client relationships through cold calls, networking and established business contacts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to achieve sales objectives.
  • Prospect, meet and sell in the printing and direct mail industry and follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Clearly present new business ventures to top management and work in partnership with management to identify relationships to cultivate.
  • Provide sales forecast and update sales status to top management periodically.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of leading the development of new business opportunities within the printing and/or direct mail industry.
  • Clear understanding of traditional and digital printing process.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and accounts simultaneously.
  • Self-managing, results-oriented individual that can successfully work as part of a team or independently.
  • Strong executive presence and professional image.
  • Working knowledge of QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Acrobat is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.

Education

Bachelor degree preferred.
